From Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar you’ll depart towards the South of Tanzania where your Safari experience is waiting for you.
Before starting the Rufiji Boat Safari you surely would like to move into your wooden lodge first. During the memorable Boat Safari you will gaze at hippo families, crocodiles, hundreds of beautiful birds and enjoy the extraordinary African sunset. In the evening we’ll sit around the campfire for dinner and listen to the songs of nature.
After a peaceful night and a substantial breakfast we will do the full day Safari tour through the enormous Selous Game Reserve.
On the last day we are devoting ourselves to the unique Walking Safari through the park accompanied by an experienced and English speaking guide.

Itinerary
Day 1
Depart to the enormous Selous National park. Boat Safari on the famous Rufiji River in the heart of Selous where you can watch hippos, crocodiles and a diversity of colourful bird species.
Day 2
The full day Safari begins and you can lean back and watch the wilderness of Selous for hours.
Dinner at night around a bonfire.
Overnight stay in a nice lodge next to the national park and the Rufiji river.
Day 3
Start of the traditional Bushman walking safari.
