Tanzania Beaches & Islands

Island Tours

• Tanzania being bordered by the Indian ocean, makes it rich in beautiful beaches with astonishing white sands

There are three main islands: Unguja, Pemba and Mafia. Unguja and Pemba together form Zanzibar. Apart from these big islands, there are some small ones which are perfect for those who love less populated beaches.

Having a well established transport network between the islands and other tourist destinations in Tanzania makes it possible for a combined tour between the islands and the wildlife safaris.

Best Adventures will be happy to arrange your island getaway, or prepare a mixture of island with game safari or hiking to offer you the most of a Tanzania Safari – Visit our itineraries page and make the most out of your holiday.
